Established in 1950, Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens and community leaders of tomorrow. For over 70 years, the Club has been at the forefront of youth development, working with children and families of all economic, social and family circumstances.

During the school year, the Club provides the only affordable year-round, afterschool care for children in our area with more than 200 children coming through our doors each day. This program provides academic support, nutrition, and opportunities for youth to make friends, have fun, and explore their interests.

In 2021, the Club completed an expansion and full renovation, including the refurbishment of athletic fields. The finished building provides 40,000 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art facilities that house innovative and nurturing programs. Indeed, each year, the Club serves more than 1,200 children between 5 and 18 years of age. At the same time, the Club is growing to serve the whole community, offering facility use for local civic organizations, small businesses, and other nonprofits.
