Power Hour

Each afternoon after school the Club focuses on this homework help and tutoring program, providing members with space, time and assistance to complete their assignments. Power Hour helps members be more successful in school and encourages them to become self-directed learners. A child’s participation is tracked for recognition through our incentive program.

Triple Play
A big part of helping our members to reach their full potential is teaching them the keys to a healthy life. Hands on lessons are taught about the importance of good nutrition, physical fitness, personal hygiene and sleep.

Science Club
Science is all around us! At the Club, kids enjoy learning about natural wonders and scientific mysteries, expanding their understanding and sparking their intellectual curiosity. Members take field trips and participate in fun experiments that encourage them to see the world in a different way.

Kids In The Kitchen
Every week this Club will provide opportunities for children to learn how to bake healthy and sweet snacks. Our members will learn about healthy nutrition and math in a fun manner while improving social support for them.

Cultural Arts
Members develop their own personal style through a variety of activities using various media to create craft projects, drawings, paintings, sculpture, and other artistic expressions.

Swimming Lessons
Learn to swim from certified instructors to be ready for the summer! Club members are transported to the Glen Cove YMCA on a weekly basis for a 45-minute swim session. 12 sessions; Additional Program Fee and Registration required.

Pizza Fridays – Fridays
Everyone loves Pizza! Be sure to place your order by Wednesday for a slice of delicious hot pizza at $2.00/slice.
