Grenville Baker’s Annual Special Events are meaningful opportunities to honor and celebrate the individuals and organizations that have played a vital role in making the Club a cornerstone of our community. These events not only recognize those who help us build brighter futures for countless children but also serve as important fundraisers to support the Club’s wide range of impactful programs and initiatives.
Gala
Every year, Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club hosts its Annual Gala—a memorable evening that brings together our community in celebration of the Club’s mission. This festive tradition, often seen as the unofficial kick-off to summer, begins with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres as guests mingle and explore an exciting array of auction items.
Following the cocktail hour, guests are invited to be seated for dinner and a heartfelt program that highlights the impact of the Club and honors those who help make our work possible. The evening continues with a live auction and paddle raise, rallying vital support to sustain and grow our programs. The night concludes with dancing and joyous celebration.
As the Club’s largest annual fundraiser, the Gala plays a critical role in supporting our mission: to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens—and the community leaders of tomorrow.
Guest Bartending Event
Guest Bartending Night is a fun, affordable evening designed to bring together current supporters and potential new friends of the Club in a relaxed, social setting. The event features dynamic bartender duos, selected for their strong community ties and ability to rally guests—both in-person and online—to support the Club through virtual tips.
Throughout the night, guests can enjoy great company, exciting raffles, and the opportunity to purchase Super Bowl Boxes, all while giving back to support Grenville Baker’s mission of creating great futures for local youth.
Alumni and Friends Golf & Pickleball Tournament
The Alumni and Friends Golf & Pickleball Tournament is a much-anticipated annual event that combines friendly competition, community spirit, and a shared commitment to supporting the youth of Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club.
This all-day affair begins with breakfast and access to the open practice range. Participants then choose between joining a lively pickleball tournament or enjoying a full round of golf, complete with a variety of on-course contests and challenges. Throughout the day, guests enjoy lunch on the course and a chance to connect with fellow supporters in a relaxed, outdoor setting.
In the evening, the celebration continues with dinner, a special awards presentation honoring outstanding individuals, and an auction featuring exciting items and exclusive experiences—all in support of the Club’s life-changing programs for our youth.
As one of our most fun-filled and beloved events, the tournament is a favorite among alumni, friends, and community members alike—and every dollar raised helps us empower the next generation.
